At this moment, I wouldn't recommend this app, considering that it's still in the preliminary stages and needs more work to make it compete against CleanMyMac. I especially liked and appreciated the design of the app, which gives me a different and cool feeling. It's also inexpensive. TheWickster Almost Too Easy The new interface is excellent. It allows the user to view individual files and check each one off BEFORE deleting them or select whole groups of files for deletion. It even prompts you to make a Time Machine back up prior to making the final deletion so that if you've made an error you can reinstall any mistakes you've made. Great job guys!

I chose 'Don't Install Now' because I could not get what it does. Once you click 'Start Using Tidy Up', you'll see a screen similar to this. Note that on the top, I slid from 'Simple mode' to 'Advanced mode'. That's why I was given so many checkboxes to select before running a scan — more precisely, a Search, as shown in the bottom corner of the app. The trial version of Tidy Up allows you to delete no more than 10 items.
